The Census is coming...the Census is coming and we ALL need to be counted. Our Constitution mandates that every 10 years a count of every person living in the United States is taken.  To say that this is a huge task is an understatement. Imagine what that must entail...counting everyone...whether you're legally here or illegally here, whether you're black, white, yellow or green, whether you are rich, poor or in between, whether you are homeless or physically or mentally disabled, whether you're 2 days old or 102 years old.  Literally, EVERY person in the US needs to be counted.

WHY, you might ask?  Because more than $883 billion is at stake.  That's a lot of money to be distributed to each state and it's based on population counts taken from the Census every ten years. So, to ensure your state gets its fair share, a complete and accurate reporting of everyone is needed.  Information collected from the Census also determines the number of representatives each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives and aids in redrawing district boundaries on the state and federal level.
