Pineville Fire Department will be doing a controlled burn on Johnston Drive this Saturday, June 24th.  A portion of Johnston Road will be closed from approximately 7:30 a.m. until about 1:00 p.m.  A vacant home will be burned as part of a training exercise for Pineville's Volunteer Fire Department.  The portion of the road to be closed is from Myers Lane to Childers Lane allowing motorists access to these roads to Dover Street.  You will be able to travel along Dover St. for...
