On Monday, August 29th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Charlotte Water will be set up outside the Belle Johnston Community Center to accept water samples from area residents. If you'd like to have your water tested, please bring a sample to them between these times.

One eastbound lane of HWY 51 between Polk St. and Carolina Place PKY in Pineville. was closed this morning after 9am to locate a water main  for Charlotte water. This is part of the Steele Creek Pump Station Project but we have no further details on how long the lane closure will last.

All town offices will be closed on Monday, July 4th in honor of Independence Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday, July 5th at 8:00 a.m.  Please enjoy a safe and happy 4th of July.   Trash pickup will be operating on a one-day delay.  Trash will be picked up on Thursday, July 7th, not Wednesday, July 6th.  The next recycle pickup is scheduled for July 14th.
