Police Chief - Police Chief Job Posting. Review of applicants will begin August 24, 2020. Hiring Range is $87,480 - $101,000. Pineville is an EOE.

The Town of Pineville is seeking a Police Chief who is proactive, visionary, and has a demonstrated history of innovative leadership. The Chief of Police is the public face of the Police Department and must be able to foster effective relationships with the community, elected officials, Town administration, and police department staff through active, personal engagement.

Public Works Maintenance Technician - Maintenance Technician Posting. Review of applicants will begin August 14, 2020. Position is open until filled. Starting pay is $15 per hour and is non-exempt. Pineville is an EOE.

The successful applicant will perform various semi-skilled and general maintenance tasks as it relates to the upkeep, care, and maintenance of municipal buildings, grounds, streets, sidewalks, and other town facilities. 

Human Resources Director - Human Resources Director Posting. Review of applicants will begin August 17, 2020. Position is open until filled. Pineville is an EOE. 

The Town of Pineville, North Carolina is seeking a change oriented individual to put their stamp on an organization as the new Human Resources Director. The Town needs an HR Director who is knowledgeable of HR trends and solutions that will meet today’s needs and challenges. The candidate will be expected and have knowledge of evaluating  existing HR programs, policies, and applications, effectively influencing and advocating for revisions, and developing new systems to move the organization forward.

Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field, master’s degree preferred, 5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources management, with managerial experience preferred. HR certification or eligibility and desire to sit for certification are preferred.

The Town of Pineville seeks a creative, innovative individual with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for customer service to be its new Parks and Recreation Director.  Under the supervision of the Town Manager, the Director of Parks and Recreation plans, organizes, and directs the development and maintenance of parks and recreation facilities and oversees the development and delivery of a broad program of community recreation to include festivals and summer concert series. The position is responsible for the oversight of the following facilities: The Hut , Jack Hughes baseball and softball park, Belle Johnston Community Center, and Lake Park. This position has management oversight of 8 full-time staff, 4 part-time staff, and 10 seasonal staff.
