Yesterday, Governor Roy Cooper announced a new Executive Order will go in to affect Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 5pm and last until December 11, 2020. This new Executive Order puts more restrictions on when you are required to wear a mask as well as indoor gathering limits. All other restrictions in past Executive Orders remain in effect. The two new items in this Order are as follows:
- No gatherings indoors of more than 10 people
- Staff, while indoors, are required to wear a mask unless they are in their personal office or their working conditions require them to be on the phone. As you walk around the office you will need to wear a mask. Staff are still required to wear a mask outside if they are in close proximity to each other.
- Patrons using the gym will need to wear a mask while inside at all times unless they are doing an activity alone. All group classes are capped at 10 people and patrons must wear a mask (basketball, pickle ball, cheerleading, cooking, etc. must wear masks).
Please abide by the new orders. We must do our part to slow the spread of Covid-19. The sooner we can get this pandemic under control, the sooner we can all get back to some sort of normalcy.
As 2020 comes to a close,
put that mask on ABOVE your nose.
Let’s work together to stop the spread,
a mask on face sure beats dead.
Everyone strive to keep the faith,
and know there’s no shame in keeping safe.
