The Census is used to count everyone in the United States and record basic information about them in a confidential and secure manner. This data is used to help distribute critical resources, such as federal funding for community services like schools, infrastructure, and healthcare. Your response is critical to helping Pineville secure a fair share of these resources, allowing the Town to provide and improve the resources that are critical for you and your neighbors. For the State of North Carolina, an accurate and complete Census response could help the state gain an additional seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, after narrowly missing the mark by 15,800 people in 2010.
Please help us spread the word and ensure a complete count. You can learn more at MeckCounts2020.com.
