January Field Trip

North Carolina Music Hall of Fame

The North Carolina Music Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization and museum in Kannapolis, North Carolina that was created to honor musicians, composers, and artists with ties to North Carolina that have made significant impact in the music industry. The museum serves as a clearinghouse for North Carolina musicians from all time periods and preserves a number of memorabilia artifacts for public display.

Date: Tuesday, January 21st

Fee: FREE – does not include lunch

February Field Trip

Main St. Antique & Design Gallery

Award winning Main St. Antiques & Design Gallery in Mooresville, is in a building that’s a beautifully restored antique itself, an old textile mill. The store is home to 475 vendors presenting antiques, vintage goods, arts, clothes, jewelry, accessories, handcrafted items & homemade soaps. What makes this location unique is the grandness of the old textile mill, along with sharing the same roof as award winning The Barcelona Burger and Beer Garden and the fabulous Aliño Pizzeria. Just walking around is a unique and gratifying experience.

March Field Trip

Treehouse Vineyards

Treehouse Vineyards in Monroe, NC is a classic vineyard with the twist of three treehouses on the property! You will enjoy their wine tasting experience in the tasting room. We will leave the Belle Johnston Community Center at 11am on Wednesday March 19^th. Don’t forget to bring your Photo ID.
